The rapid evolution of digital finance, fintech innovation, data-driven markets, and cross-border financial ecosystems has significantly transformed the regulatory landscape. Supervisory institutions today face an increasingly complex environment in which traditional compliance monitoring alone is no longer sufficient.
Recognising this need, the Ernest Shonekan Centre for Legislative Reforms and Economic Development (ESC) under the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) is convening the Regulatory Oversight & Risk Management Simulation 2026, a two-day executive programme designed to strengthen regulatory capacity in an increasingly digital and interconnected economy.
Participants will explore contemporary supervisory frameworks, examine emerging regulatory risks, and engage in a structured simulation exercise designed to test institutional responses to complex market disruptions.
